Which bike for a two year old?
A 12 inch balance bike with the saddle at the bottom of its range, if the child is at least 32 inches tall and can sit with both feet flat. If they are shorter than that, a trike with a push handle, and the balance bike in the spring.
How do I size a helmet?
Tape measure around the head an inch above the brow. Up to 52 centimetres is the small shell, 50 to 57 the large, and on the overlap take the larger and wind the dial in.
Do the bikes come assembled?
Balance bikes, trikes and scooters: three pieces, about ten minutes, tools in the box. Pedal bikes: around 85 percent built, you fit the front wheel, bars, pedals and saddle. Slides: fifteen to forty minutes depending on how many functions.
Are the tools included?
Yes, for everything that needs them. The one extra worth having for the 24 and 26 inch bikes is a torque wrench for the stem bolts, and the one tool we do not supply is a pump, because the small bikes have foam wheels that never need one.
What weight can the frames take?
110 pounds on the small frames, slides and scooters; 120 to 154 on the kids bikes; 180 on the cruisers; 190 on the 24 and 26 inch mountain bikes. The number is for the rider.
Can the training wheels come off?
Two bolts a side, five minutes, spanner supplied. Keep the bolts. Most families take them off within a season and the bike is designed to be ridden without them.
How long does a battery last on the ride-on cars?
Forty minutes of running on the six volt wiggle cars, around ninety on the twelve volt go-karts. Charge eight to twelve hours before first use and do not leave it on charge overnight after that.
Is the parent remote in the box?
On every powered model, yes, with batteries. Range is about ten metres and releasing the control cuts the drive immediately.
Do the slides work indoors?
That is what the folding frame is for. The feet are rubber and will not mark a wooden floor, though a plastic slide on a hard floor at seven in the morning is louder than you expect.
Why are two colours of the same model different prices?
Because each colour is a separate listing with its own run size and its own stock, and the price on each page is read from that listing. We would rather show the difference than average it.
Is the price on this page today's price?
It is the price at the last rebuild, which happens regularly, and the date of that rebuild is in the footer. If the two ever disagree, go by the figure on the listing page.

Photograph the carton before you unpack any further, then start the return on the order page of the store you bought from. Write to us at the same time if it is a part rather than the whole thing, because we can often just send the part.
Do you ship outside the United States?
Not from here. These pages cover what is on sale in the United States; other countries have their own listings and their own prices, and we cannot see the stock for them.
