What we keep in the shed
These are catalogue pages. There is no account to make, no basket, no newsletter box and no payment, which means most of a privacy page does not apply.
What we keep
Server log lines
Our host records the usual: a trimmed address, the page, the time, the browser string. It is how we know a page is broken. Rotated out within a month.
Nothing else, by default
No analytics script, no advertising pixel, no social widget, no fingerprinting, no session recording, no third-party fonts. The font and the images come off the same domain as the page.
One cookie, and only if you set it
The menu and the layout remember nothing. The only thing stored in your browser is the state of a details panel you opened, and that goes when you close the tab.
What you send us
If you write to us, we keep the message and the address you wrote from for as long as it takes to answer, plus a year in case you write again about the same bike. Say the word and the whole exchange goes in the bin.
What happens elsewhere
Links out
Opening a listing takes you to another company's site, which has its own rules and its own cookies. Nothing about you is attached to the link by us: the address that opens is the same address for every visitor.
Children
This site is written for adults buying for children. We do not knowingly collect anything from a child, and there is nothing here for a child to fill in.
Where it lives
The pages are static files on a content network with servers in many countries, so a copy of a page may be cached close to you. The messages you send us sit on mail servers in the United States.
If you want to know what we hold about you, write from the address you wrote from before and ask. The answer is usually one email thread and a few log lines that have already expired.
This page is rewritten rather than versioned. The date in the footer is the date it last changed.
