A kids bike helmet sold with a full pad set, sized for three to eight year olds — the XJD kit for the summer after the balance bike.
On the driveway
One shell size, 20.07 to 21.26 inches, which covers most heads from three to eight. Inside is a thick soft sponge over a high-density EPS layer, with multiple vents that keep the forehead dry during a long scooter session. Elbow pads, knee pads and wrist guards complete the six-piece protective set.
Out of the carton
The pads are tough PP and PE shells with breathable polyester sleeves and elastic straps with extended closures. Measure the head before ordering: there is one size here, and the listing will tell you plainly if it is the wrong one. Stock is thin on this model, so the badge is worth a glance.

Durable helmet and pads set

Amanda Polematidis May 10, 2019My daughter is a skinny 5 year old, and the straps for the pads are all too big for her. I didn't even bother with the wrist pads since they would be too bothersome while she is learning to ride her bike. Nonetheless, the set has helped her feel confident with biking. The helmet is comfortable for her. One reason I chose this helmet over others is that with its sleeker design it could also double as a ski helmet. I look forward to having my daughter use it on the slopes. Another thing: My daughter considers herself a bit of an artist, so we let her draw on the helmet with dry erase markers. The helmet is perfect for this! The dry erase marker comes off easily so that she can continue to design and redesign her helmet.
